"Dancing with the Stars" contestant Misty May-Treanor is hurt. But will she be out of the competition? The Olympic gold medalist volleyball player, who scored a 21 out of 30 with professional partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy for their paso doble routine last week, suffered an unspecified injury Friday.

A spokeswoman for the popular ABC dancing compeition said the status of May-Treanor's condition _ and whether she will continue to dance _ would be addressed on Monday's live performance show.

The show's producers said in a statement released Saturday: "Despite previous reports, she did not break her ankle. She is resting comfortably at home. Doctors will re-evaluate her condition on Monday and determine the outcome of her participation on the show."

It's not the first injury sustained by a competitor this season. Comedian Jeffrey Ross, who was eliminated the first week, suffered a scratched cornea after his partner Edyta Sliwinska accidentally poked him. Professional dancer Karina Smirnoff, who's partnered with chef Rocco DiSpirito, also sprained her ankle the first week. Both continued to compete despite their injuries.
