UPS inverter and auto-transfer circuits maintain battery derived AC output during power failures and brownouts so that connected equipment can be safely shutdown without data loss. Includes 6 battery supported AC outlets.USB monitoring port enables optional unattended system shutdown in the case of extended power failure, cable included. PowerAlert UPS monitoring and shutdown software available via free download from www.tripplite.com. Built-in audible alarm and 5 front panel LEDs indicate line power, battery power, low/high input voltage detected, overload and battery low/replace status. 1050VA / 705 watt power handling ability supports entry-level PCs, network workstations, point-of-sale equipment, small business phone systems, audio/video equipment and home theater systems.Offers 7 minutes battery runtime with a full load of 1050VA and 23 minutes with a half load of 525VA. Tripp Lite UPS

This is a Very nice unit. It'll run my Novell Server for about 30min before shut-down. What I'm not very happy about is the unit that I got from Amazon.com was an old unit. It was almost 2yrs old when it came thru the door. The unit was faulty out of the box and when I called Tripp Lite, I was told that my brand new unit was almost out of warranty. Tripp Lite did make good on the warranty, but I was inconvenienced for about 3 weeks.

Tripp Lite is GREAT, but beware of Amazon.com
