I returned this headset even before I got to use it! Poor build quality. It felt comfortable, but I couldn't even charge it to use it. The charger plug (where it plugs into the headset) is so tiny and horrible designed that it wasn't making a good connection with the contacts and wouldn't charge. I'd much prefer a mini USB plug (which is somewhat standard in the mobile phone industry).
The eartip that goes into the ear has a poor design in how it is attached. You have to turn it *counter*-clockwise to mount it and that's opposite of everything I've ever seen. I damn near broke the ear tip thinking I had to turn it clockwise (like everything else in the world!). The volume up/down buttons seemed loose and were also very awkward to adjust with the headset on your ear.
After figuring out how to attach the ear tip, I wanted to take it off to try on one of the other two (3 total) ear tips that came with it (different sizes and form fit). But I couldn't even get the original one off! I had to ship it back with it on and it made the packaging kind of bulge.
The headset came with an owner's manual (many pages), and quick-start "card" and another sheet of paper for quick pairing instructions. That additional quick-pairing sheet had instructions for pairing which were different than the ones in the manual as well as the quick-start "card".
This product is lousy and isn't worth a hill of beans. I returned it promptly.

It worked ok while until it died after 13 months. Even before that - after only a couple months - the signal strength would drop after about half hour of talk time. Static from low battery was annoying.

I used this daily for 2 months and had nothing but trouble with it.
Fit--I have small ears and used the small ear bud but it would not stay in my ear and always sat on the outside of it. It finally fell out of my ear and I lost it.
Pairing--No trouble in the actual pairing with my Sprint Treo 755p, but it disconnected frequently and then would reconnect in the middle of a phone call causing me to lose momentary connection with the person I was speaking to. There was no rhyme or reason to it either. It didn't matter if I was close to the phone or far away. It would just connect and disconnect at random.
Sound--Anyone I was talking to would know I was on "the headset" because there was static and my voice would fade in and out.
I will say it was easy to use, I liked the position of the connect/disconnect button and the notification beeps worked well. I don't have experience with any other headsets but the battery life seemed to be good for this.
I've always had great luck with Plantronics so I was disappointed, but I was especially disappointed after seeing this got 4 stars here on Amazon and it was such a terrible experience for me.

For my first bluetooth headset I could not be happier. The Voyager 510 met all of my expectations. Being that it was a Plantronics product I really did not expect to be disappointed.
This headset for me is very comfortable and I hardly know it is on. I have not had any problems with people hearing me as well I hearing them. The only downside I have really found with the product is that sometimes it takes a few tries to get my voice commands to engage and also I have hung up on people when I try to answer call waiting.
One thing I found very helpful was the setup walk through on the Plantronics website. I had a little trouble pairing the device with my phone by the directions in the box. From the website I had it set up in less then 5 mnutes.

I was a little bit expectant ordering the Plantronics Voyager 510, based on so useful Amazon's previous reviews. I have had the device working very well with my HP and Nokia phones. I was thinking what title should I select for this review and I selected this word which describes very well how I "don't feel" this wonderful accesory.
It's quiet, reliable and fixes very well in my ear. I haven't had any problem with the battery. Simply, it works very well days and days, everywhere.
