I really liked the boots (despite that it was indeed a bit shiny). The quality of the leather and overall craftsmanship of the boots were more than satisfactory for the price point at which I purchase it. Unfortunately, I suffer from toothpick leg syndrome. Wearing these boots with a skirt or dress was not an option for me. Thus being in the market for a more versatile pair of boots I sadly returned them.

Just received the boots. They are awesome!
First, size is right. Second, they are very comfortable!
They do look a bit shinier than on the picture, and the calf is quite wide. But with skiny jeans they look very nice!
I would definitely recommend these boots to every girl who is looking for comfort and style.

Bought these boots to wear while pregnant and LOVE them! They are cute, stylish and super-comfortable! I bought 1/2 a size up b/c I think my feet have grown since being pregnant and they fit great!

I got these in 8.5, my normal size. They fit true to size in the foot. In the calf, they are a little bit bigger (and I do not have stick legs...I was a runner actually). But with jeans tucked in, they look awesome!

The shoe part is really comfortable too. This is very much a walking boot.

Another thing. I'm 5'7. These are not quite knee length unless I unfolded the top (still looks cute). Without unfolding the top, they are two inches short of my knee.

They are a soft leather, so they definitely tend to slouch a little, but they look cute like that. I just mention this in case you're looking for a stiffer boot. The quality is good. I had purchased a $900 (of course, I did not PAY that much for them thanks to Amazon) Hollywould leather boots. Guess what? Those are going back and I'm keeping these. The quality of the HW boots was better, obviously, but not by that much.

I should mention the appearance of the boots as far as how shiny they are goes. Yes, they are a little bit more shiny than your average leather boot. However, I don't believe they are as shiny as they appear in the picture and they do not look cheap. They look much more expensive than the Amazon picture would have you think. The picture on Zappos is much better (though they cost much more there!).

All in all, I like these boots. They're cute and great with jeans, though I probably won't be wearing them with any sweaterdresses. I think they will be too loose on me and slouch more than I wanted without jeans underneath.

Final opinion: One of the better value in flat leather boots on Amazon. Get them while they're still $50.
