Don't do it

Rating: 1 (2008-11-23)

Just don't. You've already got the wii fit disc if you have a balance board, right? Just stick with the wii fit game for now. I really wanted this game to be good, I'm sad that it isn't worth it. My wife got this for her birthday and it pales in comparison to the original wii fit disc. All of the problems mentioned in previous reviews posted here are correct. I know that the wii isn't supposed to be a super power console for graphics (and that's fine) but this wasn't even up to those standards. The gameplay is unresponsive. The instructions are too vague and I actually had to watch somebody playing on youtube to figure out how to make some of the games work at all. These frustrating gameplay problems interrupt the player's motions and turn what should be a smooth aerobic workout into a clunky dance of hesitation. I also had it freeze up on my wii. I'm sorry, Jillian. I think you're a great trainer but you should have a talk with those in charge of what products bear your name.

Not worth the cost or time

Rating: 1 (2008-11-23)

I was so excited to find that Jillian Michaels had created Fitness Ultimatum and it was for the Wii. I love my Wii Fit and was thrilled to have something new to try AND have it be Jillian.

I can't believe how bad this game is. It's completely unresponsive in several areas. The 'run' is boring and no matter what you do the avatar doesn't move any faster, if you barely move it barely moves, if you're sweating and panting it barely moves, no change. I finally got it to kick the bag a couple of times but it's seconds after the actual kick and it doesn't respond to arm movements at all.

I wish I could return it. It was a complete waste of my money and time. Jillian should be ashamed that it has her name on it.

Disappointed

Purchased this video because Jillian Michaels endorsed it but I was totally disappointed. The graphics and whole program is juvenile as compared to other Wii programs, such as the Wii Fit.

Exploding frustration

Rating: 1 (2008-11-22)

I can ignore the horrible graphics but the grenades exploding in my hands while I am doing ten dips to try and pick them up is too much. I found this game so frustrating and my expectations were so much higher with Jillian's name on the product.

I honestly dont think its that bad!

There are alot of really negative reviews out there on this "game".
My 2 kids (age 12 and 9) love this game! Its not the greatest graphics and yes the controls could respond a little better but this is not a game for true "gamers". This game is for working out, and you'll get a decent workout if you follow the instructions. I havent tried it yet, but have watched my kids and they both were sweating and laughing and having a blast! What better way to get people active then play a game like they are not working out when the really are?!
